Dr Hannah Roberts is an award-winning career coach, keynote speaker, and leadership trainer dedicated to empowering women in STEM. As the Founder of Intentional Careers™ and a Forbes Coaches Council Member, she is on a mission to eradicate workplace inequity by helping professionals design fulfilling careers and develop leadership mindsets. With a background in Chemistry and Business Management, Hannah combines scientific expertise with evidence-based coaching methodologies to support organisations in creating progressive workplace cultures. She is also the author of the Amazon #1 Bestseller ‘Intentional Careers for STEM Women’, a sought-after speaker, and the host of the top 5% globally ranked podcast ‘Women in STEM Career & Confidence’.
Hannah’s passion for STEM began at an early age, leading her to study Chemistry at university, earning a First-Class Degree before completing a PhD in Chemistry. However, despite academic success, she experienced significant self-doubt and imposter syndrome, particularly during her early career in academia and industry. She transitioned between roles in scientific research, business management, and teaching before realising that her true calling lay in coaching. Recognising the challenges that many women in STEM face—including career stagnation, burnout, and lack of leadership opportunities—she founded her own coaching and leadership training business, Breakthrough Talent & Skills Ltd., to provide professionals with the tools to take control of their careers.
As an internationally recognised coach and speaker, Hannah holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accreditation with the International Coaching Federation and is a Certified One of Many™ Women’s Leadership Trainer. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies, universities, and research institutions worldwide, delivering expert insights on leadership mindset, career transitions, imposter syndrome, and workplace inclusivity. In addition to her speaking engagements, she continues to advocate for women in STEM through her philanthropic work, having pledged 10% of her company’s profits to 500 Women Scientists and supporting clean water initiatives that have provided 12,000 days of access to clean water.
Hannah Robert’s dynamic speaking style and unique blend of personal experience, scientific expertise, and leadership training make her a standout keynote speaker. She has been trusted by leading organisations, including Microsoft, GSK, AstraZeneca, and The Faraday Institution, to deliver impactful talks that drive real change. Whether she is speaking on retaining women in STEM, breaking the leaky pipeline, or mastering self-confidence and career progression, Hannah equips audiences with actionable strategies to achieve career fulfilment and success.
