Gianni has devoted his time to designing and building collective intelligence systems to transform how people learn and how their talent is discovered. A highly educated individual, Gianni graduated from the University of Florence, Italy with a degree in Economics and Management before then obtaining his master’s in Social and Organisational Behaviour from the London School of Economics. He has also completed advanced education programmes at Harvard University and MIT. Gianni has held numerous positions in marketing, strategy and as a consultant. His most notable roles include the Head of Strategy for SAP, the Engagement Director for the Everest Group and Head of Strategic Business Development for CHL SpA.
Currently, Gianni is the Senior Advisor for Innovation within Genpact where he oversees the company’s innovation efforts – a role he worked up to after 11 years within the company. Gianni’s mission in working with MIT’s Design Lab is to design “superminds” by extending beyond innovation practices currently in operation today. He is enabling humans and machines to work in harmony. As the former Chief Innovation Officer for Genpact, Gianni oversaw the implementation of GE-spinoff Genpact which drives digital innovation in large enterprises.
Gianni is also on the Advisory Board for Digital Gaia and Ubuntoo, and an Advisory Board Member for KnomAI.
