A lively and bubbly character who injects a dose of excitement into any event he attends is ideal for any corporate event.
Whilst still in secondary school, it was George’s dance teacher that made him aware of a set of auditions in his area. It wasn’t until he arrived at the venue that he found out he was auditioning for the first series of Britain’s Got Talent. He managed to get through to the next stage after he auditioned with a dance routine to Timbaland’s Drop but failed to convince Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan that he should be in the semi-finals. With Simon Cowell’s vote and a whole load of determination, Sampson made it his mission to return the following year.
After surprising the judges with his 2008 return, he made it through to the live shows and made a statement with his final dance to Mint Royale’s rendition of Singin’ in the Rain. George won over the judges, audience and nation with his incredible and captivating skill and managed to win the second series of BGT. After an emotional announcement of his victory, the song in which he performed to reached number one in the UK which highlighted his impact on the country.
Now with over 205k followers on social media, George has appeared at the West End in the hip-hop musical Into The Hoods. He has also launched Follow My Lead, an online television show that aims to teach some of his dance moves and show behind the scenes of his rehearsals. He has also dived into a singing career with all of the proceeds of his first single Get Up on the Dance Floor going to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Sampson has since released his own dance DVD entitled Access 2 All Areas, starred in StreetDance 3D, played a role in BBC drama series Waterloo Road and British soap, Emmerdale.
