Dr. Mohammad Nami is an accomplished Assistant Professor of Cognitive Neuropsychology and Neuroscience at the Canadian University Dubai. He has an extensive academic and professional background, being an Associate Member of the Harvard Medical School Alumni and a Member of the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs. His academic journey has seen him hold significant positions such as the former Head of the Department of Neuroscience and Vice Chancellor for Research and Technology Affairs at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences.
Currently, Dr. Nami is the Co-Founder & Director of the Brain, Cognition, and Behaviour Unit at BrainHub UAE, where he focuses on advancing the fields of medical and cognitive neuroscience, cognitive neuropsychology, and the neuroscience of sleep. His dedication to the interconnection between mental health and sleep health is evident in his belief that these two aspects must be co-promoted for optimal well-being. This perspective has driven his career towards helping individuals realise their full cognitive and affective potentials, particularly through improved sleep and mental aptitude.
