Dr. Amos Ogunkoya

Dr Amos Ogunkoya is a GP and a qualified personal trainer. An expert in sports medicine, he has worked as the Team Doctor for Colchester United. Recently starring in the hit BBC show The Traitors, Amos baffled viewers with the quickest exit from a reality show, within minutes of the opening credits. A few days later, he made a surprise return to the show, once again surprising the nation.

Receiving many offers to appear on TV after his appearance on Traitors, Amos now regularly appears on mainstream TV shows, including BBC One’s Morning Live as a medical expert. He has also received partnerships with the Terrence Higgins Foundation, Anthony Nola Trust, and the Sickle Cell Society. After obtaining a diagnosis of significant dyslexia late in his life, Amos finally received answers to questions he held throughout his life. For many years he thought he was less capable than others and tried to overcompensate, despite attaining good grades at school, which may have delayed his diagnosis.

Struggling with mental health, he candidly opens up about the challenges he faced at school and university. When hired for speaking engagements, he eloquently covers topics such as neurodiversity, mental health, general health, and health promotion.
