Dick & Dom

Dick and Dom are one of Britain’s most famous and best loved double acts. Consisting of Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood, the lively duo has been entertaining audiences for over two decades. To add to their presenting, acting and DJing talents, the pair have also become popular as event hosts and speakers due to their bubbly personalities and instantly recognisable act. Originally gracing our screens in the ’90s the boys presented on the children’s television channel, CBBC, firstly as a segue into a section called Broom Cupboard and then gaining their own show Dick & Dom in da Bungalow in 2002.

Aired for a total of five series, the program was shown on BBC One, BBC Two and CBBC, and saw the double act become a household name. Stars of British popular culture, Dick and Dom showed no sign of disappearing from the limelight starring in a further five title series including: The Legend of Dick and Dom, Da Dick and Dom Diaries and Dick and Dom Go Wild. Over time they introduced the ‘Diddy’ versions of themselves into the comedy act. The pint sized lookalikes joined Dick and Dom for a variety of sketch shows.

Additionally, Dom often incorporated his award winning magic into the pair’s entertainment offering. Expanding their talents into live shows, the pair saw great success with their Dick VS Dom stage show. Selling out crowds across the country, the boys had their own tour in Dick and Dom 2017 UK Tour and performed at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe, The Eden Project in 2019 and on P&O Cruises in the same year. From their stage work, Dick and Dom easily transitioned into awards hosting and have been utilised for huge events such as Children in Need, due to their family appeal and long standing career.

Another aspect of the entertainer’s career has been in DJing.
