Debi Jones

Television presenter and former Conservative Party Parliamentary Candidate Debi Jones has been working in the entertainment business for more than twenty five years, now most well known for her work as a television and radio presenter on Sky, Debi has returned to broadcasting with a new lease of life following a brief hiatus.

Originally trained as an opera singer Debi’s first experiences as a host and presenter were at some of her own performances where she found the banter with the audience as exciting as singing live; it was at one such performance that Debi was spotted by the Director of BBC Radio Merseyside and convinced to take her first step into the world of broadcasting. Debi worked as a radio presenter for BBC local radio for five years and garnered one of the largest following’s of any local afternoon show.

Leaving Radio Merseyside in the mid 1990’s, Debi went on to work as a television presenter for BBC1 television, hosting the popular morning show People Today. During her time as a TV presenter Debi has worked for some of the biggest production companies in the UK including Granada Television, Radio 5 Live and Radio City Gold, not to mention almost a decade with the BBC. She has interviewed a wealth of public figures, from celebrities to politicians, fellow opera singers to pop stars, bringing her down to earth and honest persona with her all the way.

In 2000 Debi made her first appearance as a TV presenter for a sales and shopping channel and has never looked back, contributing to Ideal World, QVC and The Jewellery Channel Debi has proved herself as one of the most talented female presenters of our time. Her most recent project, working for the Holiday & Cruise Channel interviewing pop stars and cruise ship entertainers has taken Debi to some of the most exotic places in the world and brought her in to contact with a wealth of fascinating people.
