David’s career began in 1969 when he started his journey into the business world as a management trainee with Midland Bank. Since he enjoyed a 50-year long career as a broadcaster, entrepreneur, financier, publican, and hotelier, which he now discusses in his engaging speaking engagements. His career has seen him found the London Grill Club and serve as Deputy Chairman of the London Press Club. David is also the author of 4 fictional books including “Quentin – A Spy” and “The Noble Challenge”. David’s work for charity has been ongoing since 1969 and in November 2022 he reached a huge milestone, surpassing the £1 million mark in funds raised for charitable causes. He offers expertise and leadership to help further charity fundraising efforts. He was the former Regional Chairman and National Board Member of the Small Business Bureau.
Currently, David serves as a business advisor at The Selves Group and Money4Business, as well as a charity auctioneer, mediator, and motivational speaker at universities. He is also a member of the Ethical Publishers Association’s editorial board.
