In 2010, Dani joined Great Britain’s team pursuit team, having been involved in cycling since she was 15 years old. In 2011, she made her World Cup debut in Manchester and began cycling alongside Laura Kenny for much of her career. Dani achieved her first world championship for the first time in the team pursuit at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Apeldoorn, also winning her first European title in the same year at the European Track Championships. The following year, Dani and her team would go on to win gold at the London Olympics, where they broke their sixth consecutive world record. The team also went on to win at the UCI World Championships and two Track Cycling World Cups. In 2013, Dani won her third world title, defending Great Britain’s status, and second European title, where her team set another batch of world records. At the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Dani represented England and was victorious at the British National Track Championships. After being involved in a crash that left her hospitalised, just five months later, she succeeded in winning the Tour de Reservoir. Winning bronze for Wales in the road race at the Commonwealth Games, Dani retired from the sport in late 2018.
Following her admirable career, Dani is now a sports commentator and pundit, appearing across various media, including TNT Sports. She is also the owner of Rowe&King, a professional cycling and coaching service, where she continues to share her passion for the sport.
