Dani Johns is a Bristol-based stand-up comedian, compere and presenter, known for her high-energy storytelling, sharp observational humour and warm, engaging stage presence.
A highly experienced host, Dani is a regular performer and MC for leading UK comedy clubs including Off The Kerb, The Glee Club, Komedia, The Forge and Manford’s Comedy Clubs, where she has built a reputation as a reliable and quick-witted act who can win over any crowd.
She has supported Jason Manford on tour at the Bristol Beacon (2,000 capacity), and is a familiar voice on BBC Radio Bristol. She has also appeared in commercials and branded content as a comedic performer.
Alongside her stand-up work, Dani is the creator of Ark At She, a project celebrating working-class women from Bristol’s history. The project has been supported by Arts Council England and Bristol Museums, with her debut talk at M Shed selling out.
Dani was named one of Bristol’s Most Influential Women and continues to develop work across live comedy, presenting and creative projects.
