Dan Figueiredo is a decorated technology strategist, who has over 20 years of experience in business transformation enabled via technology. Currently working as a Global AI Technology Strategist for Microsoft, Dan is committed to using innovation, data and artificial intelligence to solve the biggest challenges across public, private and social sectors. Enabling and empowering Microsoft partners to build innovative Microsoft Cloud solutions, Dan is committed to the delivery of exceptional customer success. Beginning his career as an eNurse Screenings Manager for medibureau, Dan quickly excelled in his respective fields, later becoming a Business Solutions and Product Management Assistant and IT Engineer for Hamptons International. Later roles of Dan’s included being an IT Services Delivery Manager for GFM, Head of Operations for Slivers of Time Ltd and a Service Delivery Manager for One Advanced. Forging detailed expertise in business transformation, Dan later went on to become Head of Client Services for Cisilion and Managing Business Consultant for Nasstar. Currently, alongside his role at Microsoft, Dan is also a Senior Judge of the Management Consultancies Association and the Partnership Lead of the Technology Community for Racial Equality – an organisation comprised of the UK’s leading tech companies dedicated to generating a more diverse and inclusive workforce and obliterating racial discrimination in technology.

Now working as a Global AI Technology Strategist for Microsoft,  Dan is committed to spreading Microsoft’s AI mission, a mission grounded in empowering people to achieve more by making the promise of AI real and ethical. Dan is continually seeking to expand his industry knowledge, having completed various certifications – including becoming Azure AI Fundamentals Microsoft Certified, a Microsoft Certified Trainer and a Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate. He also proudly holds an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business & Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from the University of Westminster. During his decorated service at Microsoft, Dan is highly regarded for having spearheaded the transformation of the Big 4's Microsoft Go To Market and for fostering a unified mentoring community at Microsoft UK. With such a distinguished career to his name, Dan has been recognised as Employee of the Year at Advanced 365 and Gold Club winner at Microsoft.
