Business speaker and chocolatier, Craig Sams is best known as the co-founder of British chocolate company Green & Blacks; now a subsidiary of Cadbury’s Green & Blacks is one of the most successful confectionary brands in the UK. Born in Nebraska, Craig relocated to England in 1966 hoping to open up a speciality diet restaurant; putting his first foot on the business ladder more than forty years ago Craig remains an incredibly successful businessman and retail speaker. As well as founding Green & Blacks Craig Sams, in partnership with his brother Gregory, also manages an organic and whole foods resellers, Whole Earth Foods.
Working as a business and retail speaker, alongside his brother Greg and father Ken Craig Sams is still strongly involved with Whole Earth Foods and their offshoot project Seed Magazine – The Journal Of Organic Living. Alongside his work as a business speaker, Craig Sams spent time as the Honorary Treasurer of The Soil Association from (1990 – 2001) and later as Chairman from 2001-2007. Following this, Sams went on to chair Soil Association Certification Ltd. for two years and continues to be involved in the organisation as a director. Craig Sams is also known for his cook books and cookery publications as well as his work as a retail speaker, both of which have been positively received by audiences both far and wide.
