Craig Gauthier is a leading entrepreneur and consultant, serving as the Founder and CEO of Strategy Line and Co-Founder of Over Under Golf. He has founded many businesses in the past in the sports, IT and marketing industries. Drawing from two decades of leadership, technology and business experience, Craig helps organisations and leaders shed outdated strategies and build systems for the future.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in film and a diploma in computer science, Craig founded his first business, eWorldIT, before becoming a professor at Carleton University and Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. Finding his passion for leadership, Craig founded Event Connect, the first analytics platform for event marketing. In 2010, he founded Strategy Line and has since consulted for global brands including Microsoft, Disney, Tommy Hilfiger, Google and the National Hockey League. Alongside being a business mentor and investor at FounderFuel, he was an Executive at Hill & Knowlton, providing strategic communications and marketing solutions to businesses. Expanding into the sports industry, Craig founded ATP Athletes, which he managed for three years and is now the co-founder of Over Under Golf.
During his time as a professor, Craig won multiple awards for teaching and program development, including the Most Outstanding Teacher award, nominated by his students and peers. Sharing his strategies for success, he published his book ‘Rules Optional’, which includes an 11-day transformation challenge. Outside of business, he is an athlete, regularly training and attending CrossFit events. In 2017, Craig travelled across Canada in 150 days, producing and hosting a series called ‘Show Me Canada – Where the World Lives’, celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday.
