In 2003, Beta’s illustrious career began as a Mobile TV Interactive Lead for Globo TV. After graduating with an MBA in Marketing, Beta became an Alliances Manager for Bango, before becoming a Mobile Portal and Content Manager for Vertu. Promoted to Senior Product Marketing Manager for Vertu, Beta began to develop her passion for intrapreneurialism, spearheading innovative strategies from inside the organisation that turned them into a highly successful company. In 2010, Beta became the Co-Founder of Bossa Studios, who have since won a BAFTA award for Monstermind and been BAFTA nominated for Merlin the Game, Surgeon Simulator and Twelve a Dozen. In 2021, Beta took a step back from her role as Chief Marketing Officer for Bossa Studios, becoming a NED.

Alongside forging the success of Bossa Studios, Beta has also become a serial Angel Investor in companies including Loveshark, Heights, Cosmos Video, Dent Reality and Gama to name but a few. She has also become the Founder and Host of the Hyper Curious Podcast, on which she has interviewed the likes of Mo Gawdat. She has also recently starred as a Judge and Investor on BBC’s The Apprentice 2022, and on Ready Set StartUP on Amazon Prime. She has also been the Co-Founder of Wonderluk and is now a Venture Partner of Octopus Ventures. In recognition of such a decorated career, Beta has been bestowed with many awards, such as being named on the Forbes Top 50 Women in Tech list of 2018.
