Manchester born comedian Austin Knight has been working as a stand-up comedian since the 1970’s and is known for his broad comedy appeal and ability consistently charm audiences across the UK. Beginning his career as an impressionist Austin gained his big break after winning the Search for a Star competition at the British comedy and cabaret club Blighty’s.
Since then Austin has gone to work as a comedian at some of the biggest clubs and venues in the UK; he has written material for a number of other well-known comedians including the legendary Tommy Cooper. Outside his work as a comedian Austin Knight has made guest appearances on a number of high profile British television shows including Coronation Street, Taggart and The Sandbaggers.
He has also appeared on the ITV stand-up comedy series The New Comedians. A versatile and accessible act Austin Knight is suitable for a variety of audiences.
