August Beth is best known as a gardening influencer, known online as August’s Garden, sharing tips and inspiration on growing fresh produce. As the Head Tutor at The Raymond Blanc Gardening School at Le Manoir aux Quait’Saisons Hotel in Oxfordshire and Founder of Seed Explorers, August has turned her ambitions into a blossoming career, offering engaging and vibrant discussions on gardening, agriculture and the environment.
With a dream of travelling the world and adventure, August was an Air Hostess for Virgin Atlantic for 20 years. Inspired by a special lunch at the restaurant, she pivoted her career into gardening and started working at Le Manoir aux Quait’Saisons Hotel, Raymond Blanc’s 2 Michelin-star hotel and restaurant, as a Kitchen Gardener. After four years of training and gaining horticulture qualifications, she became Head Tutor at The Raymond Blanc Gardening School at Le Manoir and has created an incredible heritage garden with over 150 varieties of veg from around the world. Expanding her passion for gardening, August founded Seed Explorers in 2021, providing boxes of produce and fun activities to educate young people and families on how to grow their own food.
As an influencer with an audience of over 130K on Instagram, August has worked with various high-profile brands, including Hope & Ivy, Ridley London, Le Chameau, Boden and Mary Benson London, and has an ongoing partnership with Gardena. Her gardening influence has also seen her featured in profiles in multiple print publications, including The Times, OX Magazine and Hope & Ivy.
August is an established speaker and host, with experience providing workshops at Liberty London, Soho Home and Big Feastival, and keynotes at Hampton Court Flower Show and Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place Festival.
