Ashley Fongho is a member of the R&B group Rak-Su and the 2017 winner of The X-Factor. Alongside his musical career, he is also a professional boxer and has strong business expertise from working at corporate companies. With a degree in Psychology, Ashley started his career as a Recruitment Consultant at Michael Page, working his way up to a managerial role. With a group made up of childhood friends, he went on to compete in and win The X-Factor in 2017, being part of the first-ever boy band to win the show. In the following years, the group toured with popstars Little Mix and Olly Murs, as well as performing their own popular tour across the UK. Turning his passions into reality, Ashley started professional boxing and is part of Misfits Boxing. Despite recently suffering from an injury, he is now stepping back into the ring to continue his boxing journey. In the corporate world, he works as a Commercial Finance Recruitment Manager at Concept Care Solutions and also consults on the implementation of AI and healthcare technologies within UK businesses.
As a musician, his band Rak-Su has accumulated over 100 million streams and five iTunes Number 1s. In boxing, he has won numerous professional matches and serves as a presenter for major boxing broadcasters, including DAZN and The Equaliser. Ashley also took part in Soccer Aid 2018, playing for the World XI team.
