Apoorva Panidapu is a world-renowned child prodigy known for her mathematical prowess. Dubbed the Voice of Gen Z, she is an outspoken advocate for STEM, empowering women and ethnic minorities to pursue careers in those fields. Altruistic, Apoorva’s mission is to encourage others to use their gifts to make a difference in the world. Apoorva went on to attend the University of Virginia’s UVA Research Experiences for Undergraduates, becoming the youngest researcher to attend. Her distinguished mathematical proficiency saw her become a Spirit of Ramanujan Fellow at the Templeton World Charity Foundation and selected as a World Science Scholar at the World Science Festival.
Apoorva first rose to international prominence during her captivating appearance on the NBC National TV show Genius Junior, dazzling host Neil Patrick Harris and the nation with her mathematical ability. Since appearing on the show, she has received multiple awards acknowledging her talent, including the Steven S. Strogatz Prize for Math Communication, the 2020 Global Child Prodigy Award and the Davidson Fellow Laureate ’21. Apoorva has also worked with world-leading mathematicians and is the co-author of multiple publications on number theory.
Outside her mathematical ingenuity, Apoorva is a talented artist and founder of the Apoorva Art Gallery, which showcases her artistic masterpieces and serves as a platform to raise money for social reform charities. Moreover, Apoorva’s art has been featured notably at the Artists for Peace, Ellen & Cheerio’s One Million Act of Good and Stone Soup.
