Author of “A Short Ride in the Jungle” and “Land of the Dawn-Lit Mountains”, Antonia has travelled extensively around Central Asia and North-East India. Determined to tell the stories of threatened people, places and wildlife, Antonia has trekked across the Eastern Himalayas, explored the remains of the Ho Chi Minh trail and even interviewed the Naga rebel commanders on the Indo-Myanmar border. As a travel journalist and writer, there are few as accomplished as Antonia.
Antonia’s journalism also extends to broadcast media and she has been a Presenter on Crossing Continents, a BBC Radio 4 series. In 2019, Antonia received the prestigious Neville Shulman Challenge Award for her research on the Naga tribes.
