Anna Kiesenhofer made headlines after she stormed to victory, claiming Gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in the Road Race. Other prominent wins of Anna’s have included becoming a National Champion ITT in 2021 and finishing in second place at the Chrono des Nations in 2021. Anna’s Olympic medal made history books, entered as the sole representative in the women’s Road Race for Austria, claiming the first cycling Olympic Gold medal for Austria since 1896. In reward of her commitments and achievements in sports, Anna has been the recipient of the Niki Prize as Sportswoman of the Year 2021 by Sports Media Austria, winner of the International Success category at the Die Presse’s Austrian of the Year Awards and named Lower Austria’s Sportswoman of the Year 2021.
