Anj Handa

Award-winning movement leader, Anj Handa has dedicated her career to empowering women and instigating social change. A pioneer in the field of equal rights, Anj has founded Inspiring Women Change Makers and has become a renowned expert on inclusion in addition to her recognisable work as a lobbyist. Influencing meaningful change in every audience she meets, Anj has transformed perceptions of female leadership, inclusivity across sectors and purposeful business campaigns. As a speaker, Anj has worked with groups from 40 to 400 individuals and is sought after internationally for her engaging and thought-provoking talks.

Determined to make the world a safer, move inclusive environment for women, in 2016 Anj Founded Inspiring Women Changemakers. With the ambition of supporting individuals and corporate clients in this aim, Anj offers actionable advice for both parties. Championing changemakers, Anj educates on effective communication and building connections in order to campaign with an impact. As an advisor to organisations, Anj’s proven techniques support progressive change, as she gives audiences the tools and strategies to implement them, leading to socially aware and inclusive companies. Furthering her global influence, Anj also created the Igniting Inspiration Awards, which recognises inspiring changemakers in the community.

Following a degree in International Business and Modern Language Anj pursued a corporate career, acting in such positions as the Manager of the German Division for MK Worldwide and as a Regional Director for Working Ventures. Having amassed significant experience in inclusive recruitment, since 2011 Anj has spearheaded her personal business as a lobbyist implementing positive workplace policies, a speaker, and a non-executive director. Under the Anj Handa Associates brand, Anj has been recognised with the National ASFA Positive Action Award and the Peacemaker International Outstanding Award for Gender-based Violence.

A committed and determined advocate for women’s rights, Anj’s campaigning for equality in the workplace and society has been undeniably influential.
