Angus Gray

Angus Gray has enjoyed many years working for the Department of Work & Pensions, currently acting as the Director of Universal Credit, Employment Support, International & Corporate Support for the DWP. Angus is also widely known for his role as the Head of the Employers & Fuller Working Lives Division and as a member of the Pensions Policy Group of the DWP, influencing employers to support older workers and eliminate ageism in the workplace. Joining the Department of Work & Pensions in 1992 as a Management Trainee, Angus has worked in a number of directing positions, working his way up the organisation. He has formerly worked as the Director of Employers, Health and Inclusive Employment, the Deputy Director of Work & Health Policy, Head of SPAG2020 Transformation & GMO, Head of the European Social Fund Division and the Head of Customers & Stakeholders for the DWP. Before forging a successful career with the Department of Work & Pensions, Angus built experience working in HR, finance, operations and policy.
