After studying Law at Thames Valley University, he progressed through leadership roles within the Ministry of Justice and other government departments, gaining a reputation for managing complex projects and building effective teams. During his involvement with the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic preparations, Andrew worked on the Government’s assurance of the Torch Relays, coordinating with hundreds of local authorities and senior officials. These experiences gave Andrew first-hand insight into the realities of leadership under pressure and the importance of communication, collaboration and emotional intelligence. He later strengthened his leadership credentials through the Major Projects Leaders Academy at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where he further developed his understanding of high-performance leadership and organisational transformation.

Throughout his career, Andrew has held several influential positions including Deputy Director Assurance at the Ministry of Justice, Acting Director at the Ministry of Justice, Regional Director at AtkinsRéalis and Workplace Policy Lead and Projects Advisor for The Mindfulness Initiative. He is also the Co-Founder of LxLeaders and the Ethical Leadership Programme, both of which support organisations with leadership development, wellbeing and workplace culture. In 2019, Andrew published ‘Organisational Mindfulness: A How-to Guide’, a globally recognised book that has reached readers across four continents.
