Alex has helped people all over the world connect to the power source that is resilience to reduce fear and shame, increase self-trust and confidence and live a more authentic life. Alex is an ex-City lawyer, a background that has also given her work a focus on increasing stress resilience and helping people and organisations reduce the potential for burnout - and improve burnout recovery.
A sensitive and creative child, Alex has never fitted neatly into society’s boxes. She is both an empath HSP (and proud of that sensitivity super power) and an iron-willed high achiever, as well as an audacious, courageous challenger of stereotypes and limits. She’s a deeply thoughtful introvert who is also part extrovert and loves to speak to an audience, share her ideas and excite and empower people to change in ways most people just won’t have thought of. As a City solicitor she studied, achieved excellence and trained in a very traditional discipline, that she went on to work in for 5 years. After that came two published works, training as a resilience coach, creating a podcast and leading training and workshops that genuinely change the trajectory of people’s lives.
Alex trained with an ICF accredited body in transformational coaching, is NLP certified and has also expanded into somatic coaching (including nervous system work) and research into the neuroscience of mental health and resilience. She works with resilience as a consistent source of energy, momentum, creativity and expansion, rather than something that is purely necessary for surviving hard times. That’s why, as a resilience coach and trainer, she uses her own model that consists of:
- Mindset + habits shifts
- Authenticity work
- Nervous system flexibility
- Emotional awareness and regulation
- Unwinding the impact of the past.
Alex has made the transformation from a highly respected employed career to a successful multi-hyphenate entrepreneur. Today she is a freelancer, driven by innovation, growth and creativity, a truly original and authentic human. With all the challenges and advantages that brings.
Much of the work Alex does is about helping people find freedom from our self-imposed mental prisons - and those we inherited from others. And challenging the unhelpful perspectives, habits and thought processes that we have absorbed, or been handed by previous generations, that we think are ‘the truth.’ But in reality simply make it more difficult to be an effective, happy human. Alex tackles toxic resilience and helps organisations and individuals see where true power lies - in authenticity, expansion and channelling what makes us human instead of trying to ignore or suppress it.
Her talks and workshops are described as “life changing,” giving participants the chance to walk away having been entertained, engaged and genuinely shown a new path forward.
The most common feedback from her coaching or speaking is “why don’t we learn this stuff at school, it's so fundamental ” because what people take away from these sessions really does set participants on a different, more productive and satisfying path.

What we found most valuable was her unique approach to harnessing motivation, from understanding how our mind works, consciously and unconsciously, and how sometimes it plays tricks on us, to choosing a language that moves us or changing habits to build more confidence and self-trust.
