Alex Pett offers expert resilience coaching to help people overcome challenges by learning how their minds work. As a Resilience Coach at Shore Coaching, Alex provides resilient mindset coaching to individuals, groups and in workplaces. She is a podcaster and author and is now available to hire for events related to mental health, resilience, mindset and wellbeing.
Alex’s educational background is in law, with a LLB from the University of Nottingham. She began her career as a City lawyer, then pivoted to publishing. Alex has authored two thriller books, “Killing Eva” and “Lethal Profit”. A self-proclaimed ‘recovering overachiever’, Alex identified limiting patterns and negative narratives within herself that made her doubt herself and her ability to create a better life for herself. That was the juncture of her life when she turned to the tools of resilience so that she could embody openness, enthusiasm, and confidence.
Alex obtained her Certificate in Professional Coaching Practice in 2020, and her Professional NLP Coaching Certification in 2022. She also completed a certificate in the Science of Wellbeing from Yale University. These qualifications bolster Alex’s expertise as a resilience coach who helps people become consistent, adaptable and bounce back. Alex often brings attention to how much of our lives is affected by resilience, maintaining mastery over resilience will develop responses, traits and mindsets that serve us. Her work is geared towards helping people gain mastery over resilience.
Host of the Notes on Vulnerability Podcast, Alex tells stories of resilience, courage and being human. She is of the firm opinion that people must acknowledge the discomfort of vulnerability to live their lives to the highest possible quality.
