Adam Cheyer

A famed entrepreneur, AI expert and top technology speaker, Adam Cheyer is best known as the co-founder of Siri used by Apple and Viv Labs which became the voice assistant Bixby on Samsung technology. With an exceptional track record of innovation in business, Adam has provided pioneering ideas and concepts to the market which on a whole have impacted millions of people. After co-founding Viv Labs, which was acquired by Samsung, Adam worked as the Vice President of R&D at Samsung. He also worked as the Engineering Director at Apple after he pioneered the artificial intelligence technology Siri, now seen in hundreds of Apple-branded products worldwide. 

After achieving an MS in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence and a BA in Computer Science, Adam began his career with the aspirations to achieve greatness in the technology industry. Enhancing his passion for technology after his first role as a Software Engineer for Bull SA, Adam worked in several roles as Vice President of Engineering before creating Siri Inc in 2008. After co-founding Siri Inc in 2008, Adam joined Apple in 2010 and became the Director of Engineering in the iPhone/iOS group at Apple, leading all AI aspects of the Siri assistant. Adam is a highly significant figure within the technology industry, having also spent more than a decade at SRI International as Chief Architect of CALO, the largest government-funded AI project with the aim to create an intelligent assistant that can learn and self improve in the wild.

Other former positions include VP engineer at Verticalnet and Dejima. Adam has also used his abilities to create positive social change for over 300 million members founding Change.org, a premier social network which Adam remains an advisor to 15 years later. Adam also co-founded Sentiment Technologies, which was put in place to discover novel solutions to complex problems using distributed machine learning algorithms. Outside of his own businesses, Adam also enjoys performing a whole host of magic tricks as an award-winning magician and has formerly performed in front of the likes of David Copperfield and David Blaine. He is also a member of the prestigious International Brotherhood of Magicians, Magic Castle in Los Angeles and the Academy of Magical Arts. Most recently, Adam has become an advisor for Riva Health, Otter.ai and Brilliant Labs. 

Throughout his career, Adam has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and 25 issued patents, solidifying his breadth of knowledge across the technology sector. With such knowledge, Adam is now often booked as a speaker for corporate events, sought to impart the wisdom of technology and future trends to willing audiences.
