Rory Darge is an acclaimed professional rugby player for Glasgow Warriors and is the Vice Captain of the Scotland national team, having previously played for Edinburgh in his professional rugby debut. Rory joined Glasgow Warriors as a Flanker and made his first appearance in the opening match of the 2021 Rainbow Cup before joining the national team, where he earned his first Scotland cap in the 2022 Guinness Six Nations. Proving to be a leading player in the team, Rory was selected as Scotland Co-Captain ahead of the 2024 Guinness Six Nations and the sole Captain of the 2025 Skyscanner Pacific Tour.
A consistent and respected player, Rory has made 39 caps for Scotland and 75 appearances for Glasgow Warriors. In the 2021/22 season, he won a hat-trick of awards - Player of the Season, Players’ Player and Test Player at Glasgow Warriors. Continuing his prominent role in the team, he won the 2023/24 BKT United Rugby Championship with Glasgow Warriors, leading to his recognition in the BKT URC Elite XV 2024/25 and the fan-voted Guinness Six Nations Team of the Championship 2026.
