English street dance duo, Twist and Pulse, first came to fame when they came runners-up of the 2010 series Britain’s Got Talent. Their cleverly choreographed and unique routines wow every audience that witnesses their performances, making them a highly popular choice for corporate entertainment. A combination of hilarious pop culture references and chart-topping singles as their soundtrack make for one of the most exciting and comedic street dance routines you’ve ever witnessed.
The pair crossed paths whilst they were studying for a BTEC National Diploma at the Brits School of Performing Arts. With a budding friendship based on their joint love of dance, Ash and Glen came together as Twist and Pulse and auditioned on the fourth series of Britains Got Talent. They left the judges mesmerised with their ability to move to every beat and entertain the audience with dances to The Eastenders soundtrack and The Cheeky Girl’s Touch My Bum.
Since finishing second place on the ITV hit talent show, Twist and Pulse have continued to entertain the nation with their incredible dances. They have appeared on TV shows including CBBC’s The Slammer, China’s biggest street dance TV show as judges, Let’s Dance for Comic Relief and Tenable. They have also put together the Twist and Pulse Dance Company which entered and reached the live semi-finals of the 2012 series of BGT.
Throughout their career, they have gone onto win the Best Choreography Award at the Great British Pantomime Awards, they have broken the record for the most amount of synchronised dance moves in 30 seconds and have become Olympic torch relay bearers for the 2012 London Olympic Games. They have also collaborated with a multitude of brands in various campaigns, set up their own YouTube channel which has over 80 million views and even presented the children’s BAFTAs.
Most recently, they were invited to return to the BGT stage in their latest spin-off series Britains Got Talent: The Champions. Twist and Pulse displayed their unbeatable talent whilst competing against some of the show’s international legends and still managed to come out on top as the overall winners.
