Salman Khan

Beginning the Khan Academy as a passion project, Sal Khan initially began his career in teaching by merely tutoring his cousin in math, communicating by phone and using an interactive notepad. His successes and prowess within the role soon spread however as word got around and it wasn't long before Khan was tutoring several cousins and family friends as a hobby. In order to upscale his already thriving work, Sal Khan began writing software to assign math practice, provide feedback, and track each student's progress before posting videos of his hand-scribbled tutorials on YouTube, where his content and lessons reached thousands of students. Holding three degrees from MIT and an MBA from the Harvard Business School, Sal Khan's educational background and foundation is exceptional.
