Ryan Williams is a leading innovator and entrepreneur in the digital media space, recognised for co-founding some of the largest social media publishing brands in the UK, which includes KOMI Group and It's Gone Viral. Over the years, Ryan has played a crucial role in creating platforms that bring people together while redefining content creation and distribution, and his expertise in growth hacking have led to the development of some of the most popular football-centric Twitter accounts that have become staples in Europe’s online sports community.
In 2022, following a successful exit from KOMI Group, Ryan shifted his focus towards nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs. His passion for mentorship and education is demonstrated in his active participation in panels, webinars, and discussions aimed at sharing his insights with those poised to become future leaders in business.
Currently, Ryan is campaigning for a radical revamp of A-level business studies in the national curriculum, with the goal of providing a practical, real-world framework that better prepares students for the dynamic landscape of entrepreneurship. As a speaker, mentor, and advocate for educational reform, Ryan is continuously pushing the boundaries and inspiring a new wave of entrepreneurs.

Ryan Williams' official speaking topics are listed below:
- How he started his business:by capitalising on the early social media boom and the companies that didn't know how to use social media effectively. With it now more difficult than ever to be a successful influencer, content creator or social business; Ryan can give his expert insights into how new entrants can stand out from the pack.
- Why we're losing out on 50% of entrepreneurs:The curriculum is designed to get students to university (50% do, reports the BBC), but not everyone wants to go and not everyone is academic. School teaches that only those who are good at maths, strategy and designing a coherent business plan are suitable to start a business -- Ryan says this is false, and is why the current curriculum needs to be restructured, specifically Business Studies, which he says is "boring kids to death".
- Social media integration in the curriculum:Social media offers immense opportunities for young people but also can bring about immense risks. Yet, neither opportunities nor risks are properly taught in the curriculum -- this needs to change, since social media is a huge contributor of GDP but also a massive instigator of mental health issues too; kids need to be protected.
- We must make it easier for aspiring business-people to find the right investor: Considering so many investors invest in a person, rather than a business plan, it would be hugely beneficial to have a platform or forum through which entrepreneurs can meet investors, and sell their idea, rather than writing extensive business plans to send out into the ether to no end.
