Paulette Frank

Paulette Frank has enjoyed a decorated career working at the forefront of the healthcare industry, best known for her current role as the Chief Sustainability Officer of Johnson & Johnson. Widely responsible for defining, amplifying and accelerating sustainable development and environmental impact at Johnson & Johnson, Paulette is a highly passionate environmentalist dedicated to helping drive the global agenda for a sustainable future. A pioneering figure at the intersection of human and environmental health, Paulette is now highly sought after as a keynote speaker for a variety of conferences and workshops, at which she shares her commitment to creating a healthy future not only for people but the planet too.

Having graduated with a BS in Biology from Duke University and a Master of Environmental Management and Environmental Studies from the Yale School of the Environment, Paulette’s passions for human health and the environment have been a long-standing commitment. In 1997, Paulette joined Johnson & Johnson – employed to work a variety of Environment, Health and Safety roles globally. Proving her worth as a dedicated member of the J&J team, Paulette was promoted to Vice President of Consumer Sustainability for Johnson & Johnson in 2009, founding the Office of Sustainability and pioneering the development of the J&J sustainability pledges. In 2015, Paulette was again promoted to become the Worldwide Vice President of Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability, once more propelling Johnson & Johnson to a more sustainable and equitable future.

Today, Paulette is the Chief Sustainability Officer of Johnson & Johnson, responsible for implementing partnerships with global organisations to accelerate environmental health equity. Alongside her responsibilities of delivering ambitious climate goals by the years 2025 and 2030, Paulette also dedicates time to working as the Co-Chair of the Enterprise Governance Council and the Supply Chain Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council at J&J, in addition to her role as an Advisory Board Member of the Center for Business and Environment at Yale – which she was also formerly Co-Chair of. Highly commended for her impact as a businesswoman and sustainability enthusiast, Paulette has formerly been recognised as one of the 100 Women of Impact 2021 by Entrepreneur Magazine and as one of the Top 100 Women in Sustainability 2022 by Sustainability Magazine.
