Beginning his racing career at the age of 9 in karting, Oliver Webb was destined to become a world-class racing driver. Entering the T-Cars Championship with Graham Hathaway Engineering, Webb was allowed to get his hands on a purpose-built racing car and the opportunity to learn Britain’s iconic tracks, including Silverstone, Donington, and Brands Hatch. Whilst learning the intricacies of racing a car, Ollie continued to kart in the Junior Max class, posing stiffer competition and valuable race craft.
By 2006, Oli had finished 3rd in the T-Cars Championship and was put forward by Michael Brentwood for the Formula BMW Scholarship. Just one of six drivers to be awarded the prestigious scholarship, Webb was given financial contributions to better his racing career whilst also receiving invaluable education and coaching programmes from BMW motorsport.
Oliver has continued to prove his raw pace in a number of race series. Competing in a number of Formula Renault Championships in the UK as well as Spain and further afield, Webb was a regular figure on podiums. 2013 brought a variety of call ups for Oli, including racing the Spa 24hrs with Mercedes, the British GT in a Mercedes SLS GT3, and the 12 hours of Abu Dhabi with McLaren.
Since his rise to prominence, he has competed across a diverse range of racing platforms, inlcuding the: Dubai 24hrs, Daytona 24hrs and Le Mans 24hrs with Signatech-Alpine. Taking home the title position at the 2014 European Le Mans Championship and 2015 Dubai 24 Hour Championship.
