Muhammad Usman Haider

Muhammad Usman Haider is an accomplished Big Data and AI Architect, currently serving as a Solutions Architect for Data & AI at STC, Saudi Arabia. Highly skilled at implementing petabyte analytics ecosystems and data platforms, he has worked on a number of award-winning multi-genre analytics technical solutions. With such distinguished expertise in data science, business intelligence and AI, Muhammad regularly speaks at prestigious international conferences to offer his thought leadership. Most recently, he spoke at the Big Data Days 2023 conference, which featured the brightest minds in the industry.

After earning a BS in Computer Science from the COMSATS University in Islamabad, he joined Teradata as a Professional Services Consultant, working on cutting-edge data integration solutions. Following that, he moved to Dubai to become a Professional Services Consultant at NCR Corporation, delivering end-to-end implementation of enterprise data warehouse integration and Big Data projects in the telecom sector. In 2017, he became a Business Intelligence and Data Integration Team Lead at tenx, building further on his expertise in business intelligence and data integration.

Having accumulated vast industry knowledge of Big Data, he went on to work as a Solution Architect, Big Data & Analytics at Telenor, a market leader in technology and digitisation in the telecom industry. After three years at the distinguished organisation, he moved to Saudi Arabia to become a Big Data & AI Architect at STC. Some of his responsibilities at STC included building architecture to drive value from advanced analytics and AI using machine learning and deep learning.

His strong business and technical knowledge of the telecommunications, insurance and banking sectors have seen him become highly sought after as a speaker and advisor to some of the most prestigious firms.
