Michela Silvestri

Michela Silvestri has rapidly become one of the most revered voices in the digital asset economy space. In her role as the Institutional Business Development Manager at Binance, Michela is instrumental in helping globally renowned financial institutions transition to and navigate the digital asset economy. Having spoken at prestigious events such as Paris Blockchain Week, Crypto Expo Europe and the NFT Summit, Michela is a seasoned and highly sought-after speaker.

Having studied at the Universidad Metropolitana and Brighton College, Michela’s career began as a Credit Risk Analyst at Citi. She then worked in Business Development at Huobi Global, before assuming responsibility as an Institutional Business Development Manager at Huobi Global. Through her roles, Michela has worked closely with several investment banks, fintech firms and other companies to integrate digital assets into their regular functioning. She has also developed workshops that are meant to educate asset managers around the world on how to navigate the digital asset space. In 2024, she was invited to be a part of a roundtable discussion at the UK Parliament’s House of Lords – a matter of great honour, that exemplifies Michela’s prominence as an expert in the world of digital asset solutions.

Aside from advising stalwarts of the finance world on how they can smoothly transition to the rapidly advancing crypto space, Michela also uses her platform to champion the role of women in the industry. As a Volunteer of UN Women, Michela was also a Representative delegate for UN Women UK at the 68th Commission on the Status of Women. Whilst she did not have many women to look up to in the industry in her early days, Michela is determined to change the landscape for the upcoming generations. She is working towards increasing female representation in leadership roles in the digital financial sector.
