After spending his childhood summers helping his famous magician father Paul Daniels, Martin Daniels decided to take the plunge himself at seventeen and join the show business industry. Debuting in the summer season in Newquay, Martin never looked back and has gone on to create an illustrious career as an entertainer and magician ever since.
Enjoying many years of successful summer season engagements, Martin has embarked on several UK tours with the likes of Lenny Henry, Les Dennis and MC Hammer. Appearing in over twenty pantomimes alongside a season at the Prince of Wales theatre in The Magic Man in London’s West End, Martin has a wealth of experience that makes him a fantastic entertainer for events and functions.
Aside from being a magician, Martin is also very well known for his vast list of television appearances. Featuring as a TV Presenter for LWT’s Game for a Laugh, one of Britain’s biggest TV programmes in the 1980s for two series. He also hosted a game show for Thames TV called Lingo and became a presenter on CITV followed by several appearances on various TV shows both in the UK and abroad. Daniels has proven his ability to be composed on camera and deliver critically acclaimed content consistently. Besides all of these engagements, Martin has appeared at five Royal Variety shows, entertaining a television audience figuring in the millions. One of his biggest achievements to date was his involvement in the VE Day concert in Hyde Park which was attended by the Royal Family and an audience of 150,000. Martin has also had his book ‘Cunning Stunts’ published which had 50 of the best tricks and brain teasers to use on your friends.
Martin is truly an all-around entertainer, as besides his popular magician repertoire Martin is also an incredibly popular comedian, performing on several cruises and comedy clubs around the UK. With the ability to mix both comedy and magic on demand, Daniels is an entertainer who can spark bursts of laughter and amazement on a whim.
