Mark Kelly is an AI expert with over fifteen years of experience in how AI is reshaping the world of work. Founder of AI Ireland and the AI Awards, Mark is on a mission to make AI understandable and profitable and support everyone to utilise the power of AI to drive inclusive transformation. With experience speaking at global companies like Microsoft, Jaguar Land Rover and Salesforce, and at major conferences like Dublin Tech Summit and the INCOSE World Conference, Mark is a sought-after speaker with a talent for delivering strategic insights on the latest tech trends.
Mark’s career is built on a strong academic foundation, he has a first class degree in Business Studies from the Technological University, Dublin, and a MBs in Strategic Management Planning, from UCD’s Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. From there, he spent a brief time as the Assistant Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car before beginning an eleven year tenure as the Director of SThree, a global STEM workforce consultancy. In 2018, Mark took his experience and expertise of AI and business to become the Chief Customer Officer at Alldus International, an AI staffing firm dedicated to connect experts and industry leaders in AI and Digital Transformation.
Mark’s passion to create a community of shared knowledge and experience is further exemplified when he became the Founder and Co-Organiser of AI in Action Dublin Meetup, where he strives to inspire and inform the community about AI and share best practice. Mark is also the founder and Executive Director of AI Ireland, a non-profit dedicated to advancing AI adoption and expertise across Ireland, supporting businesses and professionals. With a wealth of invaluable experience and expertise in the world of AI, Mark now leads executive training programmes and works with Fortune 100 companies and some of the world’s most exciting start-ups. Author of the popular “AI Unleased” series, Mark is also the Founder and Executive Director of the AI Awards, a distinguished award celebrating achievements in artificial intelligence and data science across Ireland.
