Marianne Abib-Pech is a world-renowned finance expert having been the Chief Financial Officer of Shell, a $20billion organisation before the age of 35. She is also a founding partner in LTF partners supporting businesses working in emerging markets across the world. As a speaker Marianne focuses on leadership, helping businesses and individuals understand what it takes to be good leaders and providing them with the steps to get there.
She started her career working with Arthur Andersen before she became FPA Manager at GE Capital. During her six years in the role, she was very successful and managed the integration of a private bank into the business increasing net income by 20%. She then became the Global CFO of Shell. She spent four years in this role and delivered a 20% increase in business growth as well as overseeing a 35% reduction in finance costs without disruption to the business.
Marianne’s success has seen her become a sought-after expert on leadership. She wrote the FT Guide to Leadership – How to lead effectively and get results. This comprehensive guide to leadership is a resource used by professionals across the world and sold 8000 copies worldwide. More recently she founded LTF Partners, a strategy firm supporting businesses with leadership, strategy, and deal execution particularly in emerging and frontier markets. Like through much of her career, she has experienced great success with the company. She led the strategic review of the Nigerian Pipe Coating industry with a £35million deal and enabled a French company to secure a first-mover advantage in the Middle Eastern Aviation Services market in a deal worth €20million. Her work also saw her become an Advisory Board Member at Carbon Waters and the winner of the Women’s Business Initiative Ambition Awards 2014.
As a speaker, Marianne is both highly respected and sought after. She boasts Nissan, UBS, Bombardier, and CPA Australia as some of the world-leading businesses that have benefited from her leadership expertise. Her talks focus on the culture of leadership, transformational leadership as well as personal and business change. Passionate, engaging and above all else enjoyable, Marianne Abib-Pech is a great choice for any organisation that wants to inspire and motivate its staff to become better leaders, not just at work but in their personal lives as well.
