Loree Draude is a truly inspirational leader, coach, and speaker who uses her extensive experiences to empower and encourage teams to achieve their goals. In her early career, Loree worked as a Naval Aviator in the US Navy. Not only was Loree able to fly F/A-18 Hornets and S-3B Vikings, but she also broke gender barriers and defied norms by becoming the First Woman Airwing-Qualified Landing Signal Officer during her second deployment. After serving in the navy for ten years, Loree leaned into some marketing focussed roles, a Tech Marketing Strategy Consultant and Head of Marketing, to provide some examples. Loree also earned her MBA at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She then spent 20 years in Silicon Valley, where she would lead teams at start-ups and tech companies, including Google and Meta.
Based on her experiences in the Navy, Loree has written and published two bestselling books called ‘Soar into Joy: A Combat Pilot’s Wisdom on Falling in Love with Your Life’ and ‘She’s Just Another Navy Pilot: An Aviator’s Sea Journal’. Both of which focus on her experiences as a pioneering female Navy pilot, highlighting themes of leadership, perseverance, and overcoming challenges in a male-dominated field. As an executive coach, leadership trainer, and motivational speaker, Loree has been featured on CNN, BBC4, and Fox News. She often shares stories of struggles from her deployments and relates them to those of her audiences, with hopes to inspire them to preserve through hard times and always look for silver linings.
