Kerr Drummond

Kerr Drummond is a Scottish interior designer and television presenter best known for his role on Channel 4’s Coast vs Country. Having appeared in over 100 episodes of property-related television, Drummond has established himself as an instantly recognisable face within interiors. With his positive and charismatic personality, Kerr is able to fill rooms with excitement and laughter at any event he attends as an after-dinner speaker or host.

As a young child, Drummond had ambitions of becoming an actor. He showed interest in theatre whilst he was at school and even confirmed his place at several auditions before shying away from the opportunity. Putting it down to the fact that he believed he wouldn’t be successful, Kerr became employed at a high-end bathroom design company where his love for interiors was born. Making his way up from a trainee to the head designer in only four years, he decided to split off and launch his own company.

After managing Hastings Drummond for many years, Kerr became nominated for the Young Designer of the Year award. It was then when his name became recognised by Channel 4 after he was headhunted by Nadi Sawalha. He began presenting Kitchen SOS in 2012 and used his creative talents to transform mundane kitchen spaces into elaborate and stylish culinary environments.

Following the discovery of his natural flair for presenting, Kerr went onto present Coast vs Country along with Sara Damergi. The presenting duo battle against each other to persuade house hunters to either move to the British seaside or the depths of the countryside. Having spent his childhood enjoying living along the Ayrshire coast, Kerr argues the coast side of the argument in the popular Channel 4 daytime programme.
