Educated at City University, London, Julie earnt a degree in Journalism before moving to LBC, a national phone-in radio station. Julie started her career as the producer of The Simon Bates Breakfast Show, before entering the spotlight herself in 2000. Starting with the ITV News Channel, she then moved to Channel 5 in 2002 as their entertainment correspondent, as well as fronting their breakfast show. During this period, she continued to play a key role on British radio, working on Simon Mayo's Five Live Panel. From radio to television, London to Doha, Julie's speeches discuss the wide range of journalism roles that she has excelled in.
