John Jensen

Former midfielder and well-respected sporting figure, John Jensen is a Danish association football manager. Additionally, he frequently appears on the speaking circuit, attending events revolving around both business and sport. John initially played for Brøndby IF, a Danish football club. During this period, he played an integral role in the clubs championships throughout the 1980s, and was even titled the Danish Player of the Year in 1987. In 1991, he was a part of the club's successful 1991 UEFA Cup campaign at the Stadio San Nicola in Italy, helping them reach the semi-finals. Throughout his active playing career, John made 389 league appearances, within such high-profile teams as Arsenal Football Club and the Denmark National Football Team. Over the course of these appearances, he scored 11 goals, three for his country of Denmark. Whilst playing at peak level, John earned 69 caps for Denmark, since entering the team in 1992. On top of playing football, John also managed team like Randers F.C and Fremad Amager, from 1999 to 2018.

Since retiring from professional playing and moving away from managing John then devoted his time to punditry, where he applied his calculated knowledge of the game.
