Jesse Israel is a leading social entrepreneur and meditation leader, who founded a mass meditation movement with the vision to bring people together and enjoy many iconic locations worldwide. From initially working in the music industry, to embracing wellbeing and mindfulness through meditation, Jesse is a versatile entrepreneur who helps to make organisations powerful through building a sense of community and leadership. A leading figure of mindfulness and uniting people, Jesse is best known for being the founder of The Big Quiet. A mass meditation movement, Jesse’s vision encompasses musical performances, popular culture, a sense of community and the world’s most iconic locations. Jesse’s organisation has worked with the likes of Oprah Winfrey and has used venues such as the World Trade Center, Madison Square Gardens and the American Museum of Natural History. Jesse is also known as the co-founder of Cantora music company and the former owner of Trebuchet Interactive, a web video firm.

Jesse began his creative career studying New Media, Music and Film at the New York University. During his studies, Jesse acted as the Editor in Chief of the Static Music Magazine and had his first taste for creative management. Also during his studies, Jesse worked as the General Manager of Godforsaken Music, where he oversaw the strategies for developing and releasing content. Upon his graduation, Jesse then went on to become the owner of Trebuchet Interactive. Sitting at the helm of the business for four years, Jesse oversaw content strategies for a variety of design agencies and top organisations. Jesse also co-founded Cantora music company during his studies, with which he sourced investments in companies such as Sonic Notify, Mainframe and Bio Beats.

A budding social entrepreneur and businessman, Jesse has also been the Principal of Mainframe Group, a company collaborating experts across the fields of music, biomedical science and immersive design. Today, Jesse is working with The Big Quiet to deliver a range of meditation classes and large-scale mindfulness classes, formerly having worked with the likes of Marriott, Adidas, Google and Ford. A testament to Jesse’s vision and prowess, The Big Quiet has also been recognised in The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company and the New York Times.

Having forged his successful meditation empire, Jesse has since been invited to tour with Oprah Winfrey and is a popular choice as a keynote speaker for a range of events. Jesse is also a leader for the How We Gather Community Innovators Program at the Harvard Divinity School, been trained at the 1 Giant Mind Meditation Teacher Training Academy and trained in Empathic Facilitator Training at the Columbia University Center for Justice.
