Jay Allen is a former British Army Medic turned business transformation expert. Delivering research-backed presentations to help business owners escape the trap of their own success, Jay offers a unique blend of experience from military systems, academic knowledge, personal exits and having aided 500+ clients.
Having joined the army in 1992, Jay specialised as an Advanced Trauma Medic, Nuclear Biological and Chemical Warfare Medic, and Pre-Deployment Training Officer. Following his 12 years of service, Jay began working as a Training Development Officer at 1st4solutions before moving to St John Ambulance as a Regional Staff Development Manager. Building on his training experience, since 2011, he has been a motivational speaker. Then, after his tenure as Senior Business Growth Expert at The Entrepreneurs Circle, Jay founded his business coaching company, My TrueNORTH, helping business owners cultivate the time, understanding, and operations to succeed. Jay then served as Chief People Officer of Positive Transition, then as Head of Business Development of The Leaders Club. He then became Co-Owner of Tree Surgeons Business Academy, helping business owners tackle the obstacles of their industry. He has served on various boards, such as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Woodwork to Wellness, and is currently a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Anthony Seddon Fund.
An award-winning speaker, Jay has been featured on the UK Power 100 list as one of Britain’s Top 100 Recognisable Business Influences. Jay is also a long-time supporter of the UK charity, Combat Stress, committing 20% of all investment received towards the cause.
