
Jake Humphrey is best known as the co-founder of Whisper, a fast-growing broadcast production company and as co-creator and host of The High Performance Podcast, a Sunday Times bestselling brand exploring excellence and resilience. His background in sports broadcasting, including hosting live Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Olympic coverage, gives him unique insight into high-performance cultures and makes him a sought-after keynote speaker on mindset, leadership, resilience and peak performance.
Jake began his broadcasting career at CBBC in 2001, later hosting Sportsround and covering major tournaments such as the 2006 Commonwealth Games, the World Cup and the Cricket World Cup. He joined BBC Sport in 2006, presenting shows like Football Focus and Final Score, and became the youngest ever host of Match of the Day. He rose to national prominence as the face of BBC’s Formula 1 coverage from 2009 to 2012 and anchored coverage for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, the 2012 London Olympics and UEFA Euro 2012.
