Fats Timbo

Fatima ‘Fats’ Timbo is a content creator, comedian and author who embodies power, confidence and fearlessness every single day. While she asserts that these qualities did not come to her naturally, Fats learned that her worth and self-esteem did not depend on the opinions of the people around her, and this changed the trajectory of her life.

Born with Achondroplasia, Fats spent most of her life hearing unkind words that made her feel like she did not belong. She was bullied about her condition and over the fact that she was dyslexic – both things that were out of her control and that did not solicit ridicule. However, Fats has ensured that people now notice her courage and the way she carries herself before her height. Her determination to stay true to herself led her to be honoured at Glamour Magazine’s Woman of the Year Awards in 2023.

With 2.9 million and 328,000 followers on TikTok and Instagram respectively, Fats entertains people on the internet through her comedic content. She has appeared on television and was part of Channel 4’s Undateables in 2018. Her appearance on the show was her way of increasing representation for “little” people, a term she much prefers as opposed to dwarf. Fats turned author of “Main Character Energy”, a book through which she outlines her ten commandments for living life fearlessly.

Host of the Living Fearlessly with Fats Timbo podcast, Fats has also presented for Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox and BBC’s Laugh Lessons. In 2023, she participated as Celebrity Team Captain in Superhero Tri, The Superhero sports series which is a triathlon for disabled people.
