Fatima Bhutto is an award-winning writer and columnist, belonging to dynastic political Pakistani family. Boasting an eclectic and diverse career, she offers audiences a thrilling insight at events. Privy to a rarified education from Columbia University and SOAS University of London, Fatima has been a columnist for Jang, Pakistan’s largest Urdu newspaper, and has had her work published in the New Statesman, Daily Beast and Caravan Magazine. She frequently writes opinion pieces for the Guardian.
Whether she is telling her personal story or promoting the importance of gender equality in the Middle East, Fatima leaves a lasting impression on audiences. Born in Afghanistan, much of Fatima's childhood was tainted with political and social tensions.
