Eva Omaghomi is an expert in helping organisations navigate transformation, change and uncertainty. As the first-ever Director of Community Engagement Advisor to King Charles, Eva has led numerous groundbreaking and acclaimed engagement and diversity initiatives throughout her 17 years inside King Charles III’s inner circle, such as the incredible ‘Windrush 75’ Portraits Project.
Initially beginning as a Press Officer for the Greater London Authority, Eva aided in the London 2012 Olympics bid, establishing strong foundations for her future roles in other distinguished positions. She took a similar position within the Royal Household in 2007, and, after six months, progressed to Assistant Communications Secretary to the then Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. In 2013, she progressed to Deputy Communications Secretary, only to then become the Director of Community Engagement to King Charles III. She oversaw Buckingham Palace’s community engagement, played an essential role in high-profile events such as Nelson Mandela’s funeral, Royal weddings and spearheaded trailblazing projects including the Palace’s first-ever Lunar New Year Celebration, as well as the Coronation Food Project. During her time within the Royal Household, Eva has served in other important roles, including as a Minister of Religion for the Christian Church, a Senior Strategic Advisor for the Commonwealth with The Prince’s Trust, and is the founder of the strategic communications company, Forster Jones & Associates.
Continuing her community engagement role, Eva currently holds numerous advisory roles, including Advisor to the Board for Untold Studios, National Commissioner for The Independent Commission on Community and Cohesion, and Advisor to the King’s Trust Global Ambassador’s Group, through which she established the King’s Trust Global Gala and the Africa Group. Eva is also the recipient of the Woman of Impact in Africa Award from ARISE News.
