Dr Maja Schaedel is a respected authority on sleep and women’s mental health, who currently works as the Lead Clinical Psychologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, one of the country’s largest sleep disorder clinics. In addition to her medical practice, Dr Maja has also worked in academia. Since 2012, Maja has worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University, and since 2024, she has been a Visiting Lecturer at Royal Holloway, University of London. In 2019, Maja launched The Good Sleep Clinic, specialising in insomnia, sleep difficulties and trauma, delivering sleep retreats, corporate wellbeing programmes and evidence-based psychological treatments for children and adults.
