Dr Behice Ece Ilhan is a cultural strategist and strategy consultant who is currently the Director of Cultural Strategy for Deloitte Digital. Having originally obtained a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Behice then went on to change her career path and studied both a master’s in Consumer Behaviour & Qualitative Business Methods and an MBA at Bilkent University. She then began to study for her PhD in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour with a minor in Communication and Sociology. Behice explored how consumers engage with brand stories and identified the consumer journey across complex brands, perfectly enabling her to become at expert in her field. Prior to joining Deloitte, Behice held roles as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Purdue University, US Team Lead for Brand Engagement for MetrixLab, Founder, Strategic Brand Storytelling and Cultural Branding Consultant for Dygetic, and a Senior Trend Strategist and Brand Futurist for Mintel.
As an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at DePaul University, Behice is sharing her world-leading knowledge with the next generation of marketers.
