Deepak Daswani

Deepak Daswani is a well known Computer Engineer, hacker, cybersecurity expert, and speaker. He is one of the most famous and recognised hackers in Spain, a real influencer in the cybersecurity field and a frequent speaker at the Cybersecurity Congresses internationally.

He worked as a Cybersecurity Evangelist for the National Cybersecurity Institute of the Spanish Government (INCIBE) for two years, from 2013 to 2015. After that, he worked for the multinational firm Deloitte, providing specialised training in cybersecurity in Deloitte’s CyberSOC Centre. In July 2017 he established himself as an independent professional and since September 2018, he has served as Chief Security Ambassador of Telefonica. Despite his youth, he has extensive professional experience in different positions heald in the IT industry.

In addition, he has been a keynote speaker at many renowned events in countries such as Portugal, UK, Turkey, and Paraguay. As a speaker, lecturer, and teacher, he works in multiple fields including business schools, master's degrees, business training, hacker conferences or most recently, TED talks. At present, he is a permanent contributor to various press, radio and television outlets at a national and international level in Spain. Furthermore, he has collaborated with other leading experts to write a technical book about practical hacking in wifi networks, which was well received. Deepak is also the author of the book ’La Amenaza Hacker’, recently published with the publishing label Deusto of Grupo Planeta, the biggest editorial group at Spain.

In addition to the experience that supports him, he has an innate ability to read people. His persistence and eagerness to dedicate himself professionally to what was always his passion led him to leave his comfort zone on several occasions, and become one of the most recognised hackers in the country.
