
David Rennie is a prominent name in the world of journalism, currently working as a Geopolitics Editor at The Economist and being the founder of the newspaper’s The Telegram column. Next, he joined The Economist as a columnist (2007), soon becoming a British political editor and author of the Bagehot Column (2010-2012), then a Lexington columnist (2012-2017), followed by Washington Bureau Chief (2012-2017), and Beijing Bureau Chief (2018-2024), where he launched the Chaguan Column on China.
